David has garnered recognition in numerous competitions and continues to perform regularly abroad, either as a soloist or with the “Geneva Brass,” a group he co-founded in 2001. In the academic year 2012/13, David stepped in to replace Michel Becquet at Lausanne’s Conservatory, and since 2018, he has been teaching at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in Belgium.

Since his twenties, David has collaborated with René Hagmann and his team at “Servette music” in Geneva to develop specific trombone components, the latest being double valves for the tenor trombone.

In addition to contributing to numerous orchestra recordings, David has recorded several CDs both as a soloist and with his quintet.
